Completed 2012
The Whakamaru to Brownhill Road transmission line was constructed by Transpower to increase the capacity of the National Grid between the southern Waikato and the city of Auckland. This distance covered more than 186 kilometres to the new Brownhill Road substation near Whitford in south-eastern Auckland. PPS were awarded the fencing contract to fence vast areas along this project. The fencing allowed for access, farm lane ways and large portions included insulated fence lines.
